Annie Daniels

March 12, 1920 — March 31, 2020

PRIVATE-Immediate Family Only Graveside Services for Annie Mae (Surovik) Daniels, 100, of Cooks Point are set for Friday, April 3, 2020.

Mrs. Daniels passed away March 31, 2020 in Bryan Texas, surrounded by her family.

Annie was born March 12, 1920 to Frank Jerry Surovik and Albina (Macek) Surovik in the New Tabor Community of Burleson County, Texas.

When she was younger, she and Clarence would go to dances all over the area and spend their time “dancing up a storm”. She enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, was an accomplished seamstress and an avid reader. She was raised frugally, so she saved whenever she could by recycling. Annie was a member of Cooks Point Brethren Church since 1949. She loved to talk to friends and family on the phone, was a hard worker, and a wonderful story teller.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Daniels; two brothers, Ted and Edward Surovik; and two sisters, Adele Houston and Agnes Dehart.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley & John Mikeska of Bryan, Clara & Tom Orbeck of Sequin; brother, Frank Surovik of Lyons; grandchildren, Susan Ward (John), Nathan Mikeska (Ginger), Danny Seay (Rachel), Terri Krumnow (Jim); great grandchildren, Hannah Missel (Jon), Jordan Ward, Lauren Mikeska, Amanda Robinson (Alex), Alyssa Zarate; and great, great grandchildren, Zoe Laurel, Paxton, Caleb, and Tyler Missel; and Stephen Sebesta, also by a sister-in-law Nell Surovik Burdick, and Stephen Sebesta the son she never had but loved like one.

A Celebration of Life will be held a at a later date for everyone to attend.
