Robert Morton

Robert Joseph Morton, 56 of Frenstat, TX., went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 27, 2021. A Celebration of Life to be held at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas on Monday, 8/30/21 at 11:00 a.m. The Family will receive guests from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Robert was born the youngest of nine children, to parents Richard and Dorothy (Brennan) Morton in Detroit, Michigan. When he was a young man he moved to Houston, Texas. It was in the Houston area that a young lady named Joan Weichert caught his heart. Robert and Joan were married August 5, 1989 to this Union were blessed two children Amanda and Shelby.

He was known as a hard working man this work ethic his passed to his family. He was an employee with Grocers Supply for 30 years reaching the title of Director of Retail Sales. When Robert had any free time you could find him fishing in the Bay or at his Ranch these were his happy places, he also enjoyed hunting and riding around his property.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rick Morton.

He is survived by his wife Joan Morton and two daughters, Amanda Handlon and husband Jonathan and Shelby Morton husband JC Campion. He leaves behind two beautiful grandchildren, Emma and Wyatt Handlon, also by a brother Bill Morton  and wife Jodi, five sisters; Marsha Bur and husband Russ, Diane Smith and husband Roy Sr., Mary Patino, Leona Saputo and husband Mike, and Cheryl Camileri and husband David, brothers-in-law Clint and Chris Weichert numerous nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
