After a long battle with dementia Jack Lyndal Lynch passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. A private graveside service for Jack will be held at 2pm, on January 27, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church cemetery in Caldwell, Texas.

Jack Lyndal Lynch was born on June 30, 1948, in Paris Texas, to Hugh William Lynch Jr. and Essie Mae Blankenship. Jack loved the outdoors and building things. He married the love of his life Patricia Anne Leary on August 21, 1971, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Austin, Texas. Jack loved his family. He also loved his dogs Lani (a springer spaniel) and Charlie (a wheaten terrier).  Jack always had a sense of calm about him that was indescribable. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack is survived by his wife Patricia Anne Lynch; his sons James Lynch and wife Mandie, Michael Lynch, and wife Sarah Rossmiller; his daughter Christina Fogtman and husband Dave; his brothers Hugh “Bill” and Don Lynch; his sister Lyndia Seale; his grandchildren Hunter, Greyson, and Mackenzie Lynch; Mark, David, Alistair Fogtman and many nieces, nephews along with great nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, his brother Pete Lynch, and brother-in-law Jack Leary.

Donations can be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, the Alzheimer’s Association alz.org, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas.
