Warren Gable

Funeral services for Warren Lamar Gable, 61, of Caldwell are set for 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Bro. Dennis Harkins officiating. Interment will follow at Giesenschlag Cemetery, near Snook. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., before the service. Mr. Gable passed away on September 19, 2017 at his home near Caldwell.

Warren was born July 28, 1956 to Rafe Davis and Betty (Keys) Davis in Lubbock, Texas.

Warren enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and hunting in his younger years. He loved being outdoors and would always help those less fortunate. Warren served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army.

Warren was preceded in death by his father, Rafe Davis, and son, Warren Dale Gable.
He is survived by his wife Latiea Gable of Caldwell; mother Betty Davis of Bayton; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray Dean Gable and fiancée Kristin of Bryan, Norman Lamar Gable of Bryan, Jeremy Scott Rogers and wife of Fayetteville, SC, Bobby Rogers and wife Rachel of Caldwell, David Rogers and fiancée Carrie of San Antonio; daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie Rogers and husband Kyle of San Antonio; brother and sister-in-law, Mike Eubanks and wife Sandy of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Harkins and husband Dennis of Houston; fifteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and family friends.

Pallbearers will be Ray Dean Gable, Norman Lamar Gable, Bobby Rogers, David Rogers, Zach Gable, and Chase Gable.

Memorial contributions may be sent in his name to Hospice Brazos Valley.
