God called another angle home on Friday, October 6, 2017, Victor B. Benavides.

Victor had a one of a kind personality and sense of humor like no other. He loved his family, his friends and his dog, Blackie, dearly.

He leaves behind his beloved mother, Delfina Wallace; sisters, Linda M. Gazella and husband Mike, Delia K. Wade and husband Tim; brother, Rudy J. Benavides; brother-in-law, Ricardo Mireles, Jr.; uncle, Mike Bonilla; numerous aunts; nephews, Juan Sanchez, Ricardo Sanchez, Shappa Graham, Timothy Wade, Cody Wade; nieces, Alicia Hernandez, Gloria Sanchez, Naisha Wade, Meeka Wade and many great nephews and nieces, along with close friend and neighbor, James Gall.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo B. Benavides; sisters, Gloria O. Benavides and Irma E. Mireles.

A celebration of Victor’s life will be held on October 16, 10 a.m. at Community Chapel in Lyons.

Memorials may be made to The Community Chapel or a charity of your choice.
