Sarah Brunker

Sarah Nell (Martin) Brunker, 72, of College Station, Texas, resting in the peace of our Lord, went home to be with him for eternity, January 25, 2018 with family by her side.

Sarah was a beautiful, and wonderful lady, who loved all her children, grandchildren, and all her family, but within her family there was truly one that was most special to her, and it was her sister Lucille, in whom she spent most cherish time with her. She worked all her life in an occupation that she loved, and all the families she worked for loved her as part of their family, and Sarah loved them, and their children as her own.

Special thanks to Marie Shelfer for all the love and kindness that you gave, for she cherished Sarah as her own mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Roosevelt Martin and Sarah Jane (Davis) Martin; Husband, Vernon Brunker, Sr.; Brothers, Albert Martin, Horace Martin, Roger Martin, Leonard Martin, Robert “Buck” Martin; sisters, Martha Ann Martin, Baby Sister and grandson, Keith McNew, Jr.

She leaves behind her daughters, Pamela Huckaby and husband Irvin, Patricia McNew nd husband Keith; son, Vernon Brunker, Jr. and wife Anni, Brothers Ernest Martin and wife Lillie Mae, Malcolm Martin; sister, Lucille Van Winkle and husband Robert, grandchildren, Christopher Huckaby, Christian Huckaby, Camryn Huckaby and Christen Huckaby; eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are David Martin, Terry Martin, Larry Martin, Scott Martin, Zachary Shelfer and Bobby Van Winkle.
