Funeral Services for Sadie Mae (Yorek) Husband, of Somerville is set for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, followed by graveside services at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville, Texas, with Father Melvin Dornak officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mrs. Husband passed away November 8, 2019 at her home in Somerville surrounded by her loved ones.

Sadie was born August 19th to Sylester Yorek and Viola (Hyman) Yorek in Stoneham, Texas. She married her husband Joe on June 25, 1971 in Houston, Texas.

Sadie loved to cook; she was known for her desserts and her spaghetti & meatballs. She was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed flowers and all of nature as well as music and dancing, especially Patsy Cline music. She truly loved her family and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Sadie was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Dechiro; sisters, Teresa Ripkowski, Ceclia Barr, Margaret Podraza; brothers, William and Albert Yorek.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joe Husband of Somerville; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron & Allison Dechiro of The Woodlands, Texas, John & Jana Dechiro of Rochester, New York; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie & Chris Triggs of Little Rock, Arkansas; step-daughter and son-in-law, Brenda & Michael Nallie of Santa Fe, Texas; sister, Pauline Harris of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jeff Dechiro, Shawn Delouche, Connor Dechiro; step-grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Christopher Triggs, Shannon Triggs; great grandchildren, Riley and Chloe Dechiro; step-great grandchild, Tyler Glover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial contributions be directed to the American Heart Association.
