Ronald Sebesta

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald Allen Sebesta, 58, of Frenstat is set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat, with Fr. Bernard Hung officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Sebesta passed from this world on October 31, 2017 near his home in Frenstat.

Ronald was born November 23, 1958 to Robert Thomas and Edith Ann (Machovsky) Sebesta in Bryan, Texas. He married Nancy Franks on May 11, 1985 in Frenstat.

Ronald was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree, Holy Rosary Pastorial Council, Swine Committee, and the Fair Association. He was with Halliburton for 38 years. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, going to the beach, trail rides, and stock shows. He was known as a hard worker and an outdoorsman. He spent his time working with his cattle, hunting and fishing and was involved with the Burleson County Fair Association.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and son, Ethan Sebesta.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Franks) Sebesta of Frenstat; daughter and son-in-law, Heather & Austin Woodburn of Caldwell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert & Mary Sebesta of Paige, Dennis & Cecily Sebesta of Frenstat, Kenneth & Connie Sebesta of Frenstat; grandchildren, Ryan, Rylie, and Reaghyn Woodburn all of Caldwell, brothers-in-law, Homer & Marilyn Franks, Jr., Alan & Jan Franks, James Robert & Dianne Franks; sisters-in-law, Paige & Phil Bamburg, Teresa Franks; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robert Sebesta, Dennis Sebesta, Kenneth Sebesta, Gary Sebesta, Phil Shupak, and John Norman.

The family requests remembrances be sent to the American Heart Association.
