Pamela Jay (Kirtz) Hubbard was born in Marlin, Texas, on October 23, 1945. She entered heaven triumphant on October 4, 2025. Pam grew up in Caldwell, Texas, and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1964. Pam was a member of the Elizabeth Lutheran Church in Caldwell. A memorial service will be held at Elizabeth Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00.
Pam lived in Houston the majority of her life where she raised her sons. She had a long career working for and retiring from Chevron. Her goal, though, was to move back to Caldwell at some point to be closer to family. She was able to do that in 2019.
Pam will be remembered for her kind, loving, and faithful spirit. She was family-oriented and always opened her home and her heart to family and friends that needed a place to stay for any reason. She gave freely of herself and shared anything she had. She lived her life putting others first, particularly her sons, her family and friends. Family events were a priority for her and she missed few.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne Hubbard of Surfside and Jonathon Hubbard of Brookshire; two granddaughters, Sidney and Levi; a brother, Wesley Kirtz; her aunt and uncle Jane Ann and Junior Baron and numerous other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill); her parents, Stella & Harold Brown; her grandparents Wesley and Artie Dewvall; and sister-in-law Lynn Kirtz.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Elizabeth Lutheran Church Pantry, PO Box 675, Caldwell, TX 77836 or the charity of your choice.
