Margaret Smith

Margaret was born October 31, 1923 to John L. Kubena and Lydia Drgac Kubena in Cooks Point, Texas.

Margaret was very devoted to taking care of her husband Ray; her life revolved around him. When she was younger she worked on Aircraft B-24's as well as working for the Railroad. She enjoyed working her vegetable garden and was a caregiver to her family as well as her parents when their health was failing. She loved the Lord and her Cooks Point Brethren Church family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalton Ray Smith, brothers, Marvin Kubena, John Kubena, and sister-in-law, Sadie Kubena.

She is survived by sister-in-law, Anita Kubena of Houston; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other friends.

Pallbearers will be William Secrest, Daniel Kubena, Garrett Kubena, Jacob Clubb, Dalton Clubb, and Bryan Melear.
