Funeral services for Lydia (Faust) Bolton, 80, of Caldwell are set for 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 29, 2016 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with Rev. David Johnson officiating. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 also at the funeral home. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Hillcrest Cemetery near Bosier City, Louisiana. Mrs. Bolton died on February 26, 2016 in Caldwell.

Lydia was born July 23, 1935 to Edward Faust and Katy (Rychlik) Faust in New Tabor, Texas. Lydia loved her home and her community. She enjoyed polka dancing and loved to cook.

Lydia is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Mike & Caryn Bolton of College Station, Texas, Gerald David & Linda Bolton of Hanover, Pennsylvania; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna Lynn & James Branton of McDade, Texas; grandchildren, Brandon Michael & Crystal Bolton, Gregory John & Amber Bolton, Amanda Grace Bolton, Sean David Bolton, Kimberly Lynne Hodge, Kyle Gene Hodge; great grandchild, River Tam Bolton; and favorite cousins, Ethel Zavodny and Joe Rychlik.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwight Lee Bolton, Jr.; son, Roger Gene Bolton; sisters, Milady Hyvl, Olga Gloyna, Annie Johnson; and brother, Louis Faust.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Encompass Hospice and Copperas Hollow Assisted Living Facility for the aid and comfort they offered during this time.
