Lindsey was born on July 10, 1984, in Bryan, Texas. She made her home in Snook, Texas, where her door was always open to family, friends, and anyone who needed a place to feel loved, welcomed, and cared for.

Lindsey was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved deeply and selflessly, not only caring for her own family, but also becoming a second mother to so many others throughout the years. Her home was known as the safe place, always filled with laughter, late-night conversations, warm meals, and people gathered around the table.

She never hesitated to help someone in need. Whether it was offering a meal, a place to stay, or simply showing up for others during difficult times, Lindsey gave endlessly of herself. She had a special gift for making people feel like family, and many children and family friends found comfort and love in her home over the years. She raised and loved many as if they were her own. Lindsey especially loved spending time with her family, both the family she was born into and the family she chose along the way. Whether gathered around a game of cards, taking family trips to the Frio river, sharing stories, laughing until everyone cried, or simply sitting together at home, her favorite place was with those she loved making memories together.

She was also deeply involved in her community and was a pillar in helping organize and support the local Toy Run charity each year. Lindsey never missed an opportunity to care for others and give back to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Lynn (Crain) Wilson

She is survived by her father, Larry Wilson; her sisters; her high school sweetheart, Colby Williams; her beloved children, Payton and Makenzie Williams; and the many bonus children and loved ones she welcomed into her life and home as her own.

In honor of Lindsey’s selfless heart and dedication to the community, family and friends are encouraged to wear a Toy Run t-shirt if they have one.
