Leo Allen Warneck

Lee Allen Warneck, 77, of Caldwell, Texas went to be peacefully with his savior, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Bryan, Texas. Services will be held for Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Caldwell, Texas, with Deacon John Young officiating. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. and the family will receive guests from 10:30 am ~ 11:00 a.m. all at Strickland Funeral Home Caldwell. The burial will follow in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Frenstat.

Leo, as he was known by friends & family was born June 1, 1948, in Wharton, Texas to parents Leo Bernard Warneck and Mary Ann Gaas.

Leo was in the construction business, especially dealing with metals and steel. He left Houston for the simple life of the Country settling down in Caldwell where he made his home.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing with his dogs, Katie, Sandy, Max, and Ajax.

You could also find him doing mechanic work, lawn mowing and being a Fix -it-man.

When his father passed, he cared for his mother until she passed Leo passed peacefully after battling a lengthy illness.
