Laura Belle Keesee, 87, of Giddings went to her heavenly home on February 14, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18 from 1pm-8pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Service will be 1pm, Friday, February 19, at Strickland Funeral Home, with interment following at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Laura was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who dearly loved her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved fishing. Football and NASCAR where some of her favorite sports to watch on Television. Her favorite past time however, was getting to spend time with her family on Thanksgiving and Christmas. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cortes Jackson Whisman and Jenny Belle Click, husband, Ben Fogle Keesee, son, David Keesee and brother, Kenneth Whisman.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Benny Keesee, James Ray Keesee, daughter, Joyce Mueller, sisters, Geneva Stamper, Maxine Smith, brothers, Hiram Whisman, Johnny Whisman, Wendell Whisman, Gene Whisman, James Russell Whisman, Charles Whisman, Albert Whisman and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
