Juan Jimenez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Juan Jimenez, 68, of Chriesman is set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Caldwell. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25th at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Jimenez passed from this world February 23, 2020.

Juan was born May 23, 1951 to Geronimo Jimenez and Epifania (Castillo) Jimenez in Caldwell, Texas. He was an active young boy until the age of five, when he was diagnosed with spinal meningitis. His illness left bed ridden for the rest of his life.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Geronimo and Epifania (Castillo) Jimenez; sisters, Maria Elena (Kita), Bartola Jimenez, Nemisa Jimenez; brothers, Martin and Raymond Jimenez and brother-in-law, Valentin Martinez.

He is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Dominga Martinez, Josephine & Jimmy Harper; nieces and nephews, Mary Martinez Hancock, Esther & David Pritchard, Susie & Mark Wellman, Jennifer and Jonathon Burrow, Jessica Harper; great nieces and nephews, Heather Hancock, Ben Jackson and Lilly Jackson, Brittany and Kasey Pritchard, Peyton Travis, Bryce, Kennedy and Hudson Burrow.

Pallbearers will be Ines Martinez, Juan Vega, Mark Wellman, David Pritchard, Phillip Rodriguez and Daniel Rodriguez.
