Josephine Arredondo

Josephine Arredondo, 93, of Somerville passed away September 23, 2020.

Josephine was born August 26, 1927 to Teodoro Arredondo and Jesusa Jaramillo. She will be remembered for always taking care of her family from writing letters and sending baked goods to her brothers in the service to taking care of her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Family was everything to her and she passed those values to the younger generations. Josephine was also very active in the church helping with the Altar Society. She was lovingly known as the “Texaco Lady” to everyone in town. In her off-time Josephine liked to go dancing, listen to music, drink coffee, watch movies and go out to eat. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Juan De La Rosa (Mary), Martin De La Rosa (Vanessa), Rebecca De La Rosa; great nephews, Alex De La Rosa, Jesse De La Rosa, Noah De La Rosa and David Matthew De La Rosa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and four sisters.

Pallbearers are Eddie Cruz, Christopher Arredondo, Paul Arredondo, David De La Rosa and Ernie Arredondo.
