Jordan Rathjen

Jordan Rathjen, 26, of Somerville went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 6-8 pm with a rosary recited at 7 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Services will be Tuesday, January 3, 10 am at the Funeral Home.

Jordan was a wonderful son, father and friend. His passion was first and foremost his son, Clay. He spent his time hunting, fishing, shooting pool, singing karaoke, watching the Dallas Cowboys and hanging with friends. Jordan was always laughing and cracking jokes. He truly enjoyed every day to the fullest and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hubert and Alice Marie Watson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Darwon “Skeeter” Rathjen and wife Connie, mother, Pam Wells and husband John, son, Clay Blake Rathjen, brothers, Trevor Scott Rathjen, Austin Cole Rathjen, step-brother, Derek Cotton and wife Aubri, step-sisters, Tiffany Gillam, Janie Wells, paternal grandparents, AC and Annie Rathjen and special friend, Lensey Ragnes.

Pallbearers are Christian Lewis, Randall Schoppe, Bryant Nelson, Justin Derkowski, Cecil Roberts and Marcus Douglas.

Honorary Pallbearers are Arsenio Wilson, David Ford and Jackie Archer.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Clay Blake Rathjen Scholarship Fund at any Citizens State Bank location.
