Johnny Ferro, Sr.

Graveside services for Johnny William “JW” Ferro, Sr, 81, of Caldwell were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Macedonia-Hix Cemetery, with Pastor Jimmy Haile officiating. Mr. Ferro passed away on April 18, 2020 in Caldwell, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
JW was born July 26, 1938 to Joseph Ferro and Dorothy (Childs) Ferro in Sugarland, Texas.
JW was a businessman and retired contractor-builder. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved old time country & western music & dancing, and was a member of the Macedonia-Hix Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
JW was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Ferro; two brothers, Donald and Carlos Ferro; and step-brother, John Frank Ferro.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Sue Ferro and her family of Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law Johnny & Diane Ferro, Jr. of Needville; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy & David Neuenschwander of Calhoun, GA; granddaughter, Misty and husband Jason; and great grandchildren, Autumn, Skylar and David.
