Jo Schultz

March 16, 1948 — January 10, 2017

Jo Ann was born March 16, 1948 to Joe Canatella and Dorothy (Sigsbee) Canatella in Navasota, Texas.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mikel Schultz and grandson, Christopher Schultz. She married Albert Schultz on May 2, 1964, in Cameron, Texas.

Jo Ann enjoyed playing cards; dominoes moon & 42; bingo, listening to country & western music; having her nails done; watching TV; The Young & the Restless and other soaps; talking to her sister Pat on the phone; cooking; eating Chinese food & crushed ice from Sonic. She was very sociable, and loved being around her family and friends. She really enjoyed spoiling her grandkids, watching their sports activities and loved cooking spaghetti and cheesy mashed potatoes for them.

She was a lifelong member of Lyons Evangelical United Church of Christ. She was a member of the home builders group and was devoted to her husband for 52 years.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Schultz of Caldwell, sons and daughters-in-law, Allen Schultz of Houston, Joe & Ginger Schultz of Brenham, Randy & Tricia Schultz of Snook, Steven & Sandra Schultz of Caldwell; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Janice Canatella of Caldwell; sister, Patricia Nemec & Terry McDonald of Humble; grandchildren, Wayne & Amber Campise, Nathan & Erin Schultz, Sadie Schultz, Ginger Randermann, Mason Schultz, Brandon Schultz, Shannon Schultz, Cameron Schultz, Carson Schultz; great grandchildren, Connor Schultz, Parker Schultz and Kelci Campise.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Campise, Nathan Schultz, Mason Schultz, Brandon Schultz, Cameron Schultz, and Matthew Canatella.
