Jeffry Krueger

A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeffry Allen Krueger, 51, of Somerville is set for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat, with Fr. Melvin Dornak officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 20th at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with a Rosary being read at 7:00 p.m.

Jeffry was born on February 27th 1967 in Caldwell, Texas to Leon A. Krueger and Margaret Carrie (Knesek) Krueger. He was baptized and confirmed at Holy Rosary, and graduated from Somerville High School in 1985. Jeff married Jackie Kovasovic in 1992. They then welcomed their pride and joy, their son Jeremy Leon Krueger in 1994. Jeff spent most of his time outdoors dividing his time between the hay fields and cattle. Jeff also enjoyed spending quality time, and fishing with his family. Jeff was known for his work ethic, contagious smile, and constant positive attitude. Jeff believed in hard work and seeing each and every task through.

Jeffry departed this world peacefully, surrounded by his family December 18th, 2019 after a three-year battle with colon cancer.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his father, Leon Krueger; mother, Margaret Krueger; brother Gene Krueger; sister, Janice Kotch; and nephews Donnie and Thomas Krueger. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years Jackie (Kovasovic) Krueger of Somerville; son, Jeremy Krueger and wife Sydney of Somerville; mother in law Alice (Aylor) Kovasovic of Somerville; brother Dennis Krueger, Sr., of Somerville; brother in laws, Dan Kovasovic and wife Jennifer of Somerville, Theodore Kovasovic and wife Monica of Orchard, Joseph Kovasovic of Livingston, Jim Kotch of Somerville; sister in law, Phyllis Hudman and husband Bret of Altar; nieces and nephews, Gabrielle, Emma, Aubrey, Taber, Skylar, Thatcher, Jacie and JK Kovasovic; DL, Valerie, Jacob, and Jace Krueger, Candy, Clay, and Braxton Fritcher, Jimmy, Marley, Delaney, and Tealey Kotch, Jared, Mollie, Kamden, and Knyley Kotch, Jeannie, Brian, and Caroline Goss, Kevin, Michael, Erin, Jacob, and Jessica Hudman; James Krueger; Jeff, Rebekah, and Justin Luza; very special friend, Elizabeth Alexander; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth (Champ) Bohacek, Vernon (Will) Bohacek, Tim Knesek, Garrett Rathjen, Pacer Lednicky, and Dustin Knesek. Honorary pallbearers are; Ronney Knesek, Lonnie Webb, Gary Gaskamp, and Roy Green.
