Henrietta Hein

A Mass of Christian Burial for Henrietta Kazmir Hein, 87, of Caldwell is set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat, with Fr. Bernard Hung officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., by Deacon John Young. Mrs. Hein passed from this world on March 13, 2019 at her home in Caldwell.

Henrietta was born April 28, 1931 to Henry Brinkman and Milady (Popek) Brinkman in the Birch Community of Burleson County.

Henrietta was member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Society and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was a devout Catholic, and a very spiritual person. Henrietta was an avid gardener, roses were her favorite flowers. She was a rancher and a caregiver to all. She loved to cook and sew and was always the first to make sure that everyone was well fed. She enjoyed reading, working puzzle books and painting. At one point she had her own business growing and selling plants and also her macramé creations. She was the family historian, always ready to tell a story and was a teacher to everyone whom she came in contact with.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cathy Worchesik, first husband, Raymond Kazmir; and second husband, Leo Hein.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond & Beverly Kazmir of Caldwell, James & Debbie Kazmir of Houston, Henry Kazmir of Caldwell; daughters and sons-in law, Barbara & Stanley Buzek of Caldwell, Diana & Tom Franke of Caldwell, Charles Worchesik of Houston; brothers and sister-in-law, Henry & Billie Brinkman of Caldwell, Bernice Brinkman of Somerville; sisters and brother-in-law, Annie & Alphine Rathjen of Somerville, Joan Klagman of Caldwell; grandchildren, Brian Worchesik, Bobby & Candace Kazmir, Timmy Kazmir, Crystal & Jesse Garza, Adam Kazmir, Amanda & Tommy Crouch, Christina & Will Chisolm, Erica & T.J. Chmelar, Jason Franke, Joshua Franke, Justin Kazmir; great grandchildren, Christian O’Conner, Sheyanne Worchesik, Brodie Worchesik, Zoey Kazmir, Zachary Kazmir, Emily Garza, Corbin Kazmir, Piper Kazmir, Cameron Banks, Gavin Chmelar, James Crouch, Everly Chmelar, Ava Kazmir, Tony Crouch; great, great-grandchildren, Courtney Boo, and Ethan Boo.

Pallbearers will be Brian Worchesik, Bobby Kazmir, Adam Kazmir, Timmy Kazmir, Jason Franke, Joshua Franke, Justin Kazmir, and T.J. Chmelar.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
