Hazel “Vickie” Delores Davis was born on February 13, 1949, in Houston, Texas. She graced this world with her vibrant spirit until she peacefully departed on March 2, 2026. Vickie was not just a remarkable individual; she was a beacon of love and light to all who knew her.
A dedicated nurse, Vickie devoted her life to caring for others, her profession was not only a career but a calling, reflecting her nurturing nature and commitment to the well-being of those around her. Vickie’s ability to connect with her patients and colleagues alike left a lasting impact that will be remembered fondly.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Vickie had a zest for life that was infectious. She reveled in music, often finding joy and solace within its melodies. Whether it was through her love for travel or her fondness for sports such as bowling, softball, and volleyball, she embraced opportunities to create beautiful memories. Each adventure and shared laugh added layers of warmth to her already vibrant life.
Vickie’s family enriched her existence in countless ways. She leaves behind her loving husband, Arrington Davis, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Their bond was a testament to enduring love. Vickie also leaves behind her sons, Derrick Davis and his wife Jennifer, Arri Davis and his wife Tricia.
