Gail Ryan

Gail Anne Ryan, 66, of Austin (formerly of Somerville, TX) passed away Thursday, January 4th at home. Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Somerville, with services to follow. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville.

Gail was born on February 10, 1951, in Staten Island, NY.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family cooking and baking. Gail loved to knit, travel, garden, and absolutely adored all things to be in her favorite color purple. She sang in the choir at church and on occasion could be found singing songs of her favorite artists, Neil Diamond and Barry Manilow. Gail was fun loving and hard to make mad. She will truly be missed by all those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Klages and Thelma B. (Scholl) Klages.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Ryan; sons, Wesley Ryan and wife Laura, Matthew Ryan; brothers, Robert Klages and wife Meri Lee, Peter Klages and wife Betty; sisters, Rebecca Johnson and husband Charlie, Beth Gilleo; grandchildren, Jacob Luke Ryan, Genevieve Ryan and fur baby Bosco.

Pallbearers are Wesley Ryan, Jacob Ryan, Israel Prado, Duane Scribner Jr., and Julian Valdez Jr.
