Dorothy Mae Porter, 91, of Snook went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 12, 2016.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her LORD and her family. She was an accountant at Texas A&M University Veterinary School for many years. For 25 years, she also managed the accounting for her husband's company, College Station Aircraft Repair. She was Active in Lon Oak Baptist Church and the Snook community. She enjoyed square-dancing and gospel singing for many years. Dorothy loved helping others and that thread ran throughout her life. Many heartwarming post made to Facebook in response to the announcement of her passing by friends and family expressed how she had been helpful to them.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Barlow Porter, Jr., parents, Harry Milton Worthington and Earlie Mae Jones Worthington Roy, daughter, Dorothy Jean Porter Record, brothers, Raymond Melvin Worthington, Gerald Mark Worthington, sister, Orveta Ruth Worthington Schneller Smith, brother-in-law's, William Jack Schneller, Wilburn Clark Smith, Percy Boudreaux, Albert Johanson, Jack Dankers, Charles Whatley, sister-in-law's, Madeline Florence Boudreaux Willoughby, Georgia Maxine Johanson Leonard and Barbara Dell Harkey Whatley.

She is survived by her daughters, Delania Porter Gordon and husband Grant D. Gordon, III, Elizabeth Francis Porter Hickman and husband Larry, Madeline Louise Porter Baugher and husband Richard, sister-in-law's, Addie Jean Porter Dankers Roberts Pyles, Mary Jo Worthington, brother-in-law, Fred Pyles, grandchildren, Brandon Lewis Gordon and wife Erica, Amanda Leigh Gordon Friedeck and husband Wade, Rebecca Anne Baugher Segrest and husband Bryan, Matthew Wilson Baugher and wife Angela and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Brandon Gordon, Matthew Baugher, Wade Friedeck, Bryan Segrest, Don Horn and Jason Huggins.
