Dorothy Kubelka

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Dorothy Marie (Popek) Kubelka, 82, of Caldwell, at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Frenstat, with Fr. Bernard Hung officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Kubelka passed away on December 15, 2017 in Bryan, Texas.

Dorothy was born September 6, 1935 in Birch, Texas to Benjamin Franklin Popek and Anna Helen (Oppermann) Popek. On February 2, 1957 she married Dyonis Floyd Kubelka. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gerard & Amy Kubelka of Katy, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Evonne & Paul Wilburn of Waller, Texas; Regina Kubelka of Austin, Texas; sisters, Bernice Ondrasek of Smetana, Texas, Carolyn Fritsche of Frenstat, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin, Lauren, Anna, Catherine, and Genevieve Kubelka, Justin and wife Jaclyn Brewer, Wendy Brewer; great grandchildren, Jaxen Brewer, Jameson Brewer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
