Clem Lednicky, Jr.

Funeral services for Clem Albert “Bubba” Lednicky, Jr., 71, of Caldwell are set for 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Snook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2018 also at the funeral home. Mr. Lednicky passed from this world on June 1, 2018 in Bryan, Texas.

Clem was born August 26, 1946 to Clem Lednicky, Sr. and Mary Irene (Tuttle) Lednicky in Houston, Texas. He married Sheryl Womack on June 6, 1980 in Houston.

Clem was a member of the local Pipefitters Union # 211. He was an instrumental part of the Salt Grass Trail Rides, enjoyed coon hunting, cattle ranching and riding 4-wheelers. He was a gun enthusiast, loved building and working on stuff and really enjoyed a good “fixer upper”. He loved spending time with his grand kids, nieces, nephews and was very generous to anyone in need. Clem was a very good and caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Clem was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Corinna Lednicky and grandson Bryan Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl Lednicky of Caldwell; son, Pacer Shane Lednicky of Caldwell; daughter, Mary Alice Lednicky of Caldwell; sisters and brother-in-law Sandra & Larry Landrum of Caldwell, Joan Davenport of Lyons, Julie Hruska of Lyons; grandchildren, Corrina Lednicky, Randall Wilson; great grandchild, Tristen Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.

Pallbearers will be Mark Koch, Kody Fisher, John Michael Anderson, Thomas Norsworthy, Frank Maldonado and Ronnie Haynes. Acting as honorary pallbearers will be Charles Doonan, Pete Scarmardo Jack Stifflemire and James Urbanosky.

The family requests that memorials be given to the First Baptist Church of Somerville Memorial Building Fund.
