Ciara Marie Svec

Ciara Marie Svec was born on January 6, 1979, at Bohne Memorial Hospital in Brenham, Texas, to Carolyn and Vincent Svec Jr. She was the eldest of her three siblings and was known to many as the "mother hen" friend. Ciara had an old soul and endless love for anyone she met. In high school, Ciara was a cheerleader and ran cross-country. She was an avid cook and loved to feed her children and their friends. Ciara would attend as many basketball and softball games as possible for her beloved children, nieces, and nephews. In her younger days, she spent her summers playing and hosting volleyball games with friends and family members. When Ciara was young, her father introduced her to fishing, and has loved it ever since. She always enjoyed getting her hair done, and nails painted bright red. She gave her whole self to God. Through her struggles, she deepened her faith and relationship with the Lord.

Ciara's compassion and enduring love were pillars of strength for our family and her community. Her absence will be deeply felt as her life was about her love and relationship with her family. 

She is survived by her three children, Savanah Ramirez, Caden Brown, and Trinity Brown, her only grandchild, Kai aka “Gizmo” Coleman; her parents Carolyn Skopik, Vincent Svec and Deborah Svec; her sister, Tiffany Sodolak and husband Curtis, her brother Michael Svec; and her nieces, Payton and Paisley Sodolak and Serenity Svec and nephews, Zander Sodolak, and Michael Svec Jr.; along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. 

We invite you to honor her life at the services held on Monday, May 6, 2024, in Caldwell, TX, at Strickland Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until 12pm, immediately followed by the funeral service at 12pm. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary cemetery in Frenstat.
