Memorial services for Carolyn Elizabeth Irvin, 87, of Snook are set for 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 at Snook Brethren Church in Snook, with Bro. Joseph Polasek officiating.

Carolyn was born on September 5, 1931 to William A. Barnes and Frances E. (Greening) Barnes in Flushing, Michigan.

Carolyn was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter and an Honorary Member of Christian Sisters. She was a feisty, “full of life” woman, who was known to live life to the fullest. She enjoyed taking trips on her grandson’s Harley Davidson and never failed to push herself to try new things. Carolyn was always on the lookout for her next big adventure. She had a fiery spirit and a personality to match.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Barnes; sister Lillian Kleckner; and son, David Wayne Henderson.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda & Waldo Sebesta of Snook, Texas, Tamara & Gary Hall of Burton, Michigan, daughter-in-law, Debbie Henderson of Bryan, Texas; sister, Janet Barnes-Filkins of Flushing Michigan; sister-in-law, Henrietta Barnes of Traverse City, Michigan; grandchildren, Shannon & Kevin Wood, Rachelle & Richard Wallis, Desiree & Chris Hoffman, Kerrianne & Denny Ferrero, Robert Sebesta, John & Racheal Sebesta, Jeremy Hall, Duane Damon, Lauren & John Brewster, Ashley Henderson & Stephen Albrecht; great grandchildren, Autumn Wood & Nick Willacker, Kyle Wood, Summer Wood & Saul Flores, Emma Wood, Richie Wallis, Reese Wallis, Sarah Hoffman, Chase Hall, Selena Hall, Tristan Damon, Kristin Damon, Weston Ferrero, Courtney Sebesta, Katelyn Sebesta, Emma Sebesta, Jake Sebesta, Bobby Arlt, Jakob Arlt, Colton Sebesta, Traedyn Henderson, David Wayne Henderson, Holly Brewster, Jase Albrecht; and great, great grandson, Oliver Wyatt Willacker.
