Mr. Kiddy will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
My Dad was the last of the Kiddy's. There were 12 of them, 6 boys and 6 girls. They grew up dirt poor in Mississippi. Boy did he have some stories. The oldest brother Paul headed to Texas in the 50's and dragged the rest of the boys to help. They opened what would be the beginning of the Kiddy BBQ Legacy. There's been so many restaurants I can't count. I just wanted people to know my Dad was a really special person. He maybe went to the 3rd grade and he and my Mom owned a BBQ restaurant until 2002 or 2003. He retired and went to work for my nephew (who still has a restaurant) then retired for good. He was a wonderful Dad and an extra special PawPaw. Love, Debra
