Billy “Bill” Parrish Haddox born November 9th, 1951 and passed peacefully at his home August 14th, 2026. Bill was born in Conroe, Texas to Billy Joe and Dorean Jean (Collins). Bill as a child grew up in Texas until his family moved to Indiana where he attended Chesterton High School and lettered in wrestling and football and always enjoyed sports. After high school he joined the Army and served his country. When Bill returned from the Army, he became and Ironworkers Local 395 in Indiana. While ironworking Bill was able to help build several notable projects, including the Sears Tower, Several Steel Mills, Brewers Stadium, Mexico City and many other through out the United States. When Bill retired to Caldwell, Texas he didn’t let any dirt settle under his feet. He started building many homes and commercial projects for his hometown.

Bill held several organizations close to his heart. He was a Past Master for the Calumet Masonic Lodge #379 in Chesterton, Indiana. York Rite/Knights Templar of LaPorte, Indiana, Scottish Rite/Northern Masonic Organization of South Bend, Indiana, Perpetual Life Member of the General Grand Chapter Royal Arch Mason, International, and Warren Lodge #56 in Caldwell, Texas. He enjoyed helping support the Caldwell Boys and Girls Club and found great excitement raising up the bids to challenge other member and get the most for the kids, Go Texan Burlson County Fair, and his favorite watering hole The VFW, where he shared stories with countless friends. He even had a favorite bar stool. He loved to be in Caldwell where his great grandfather had homestead.

Bill married his loving, devoted wife. Pamela “Sue” Bolin, October 8, 1993. They shared lots of life experiences and traveled all over the United States and Bill worked several projects. They made several friends on their journeys and always tried to keep in touch and share stores and life’s adventures.

If you knew Bill, he loved his two grandchildren and was very proud of them. His grandson, Jimmy McCarthy of Caldwell, Texas is becoming an electrician with CC Electric. Following in the construction industry his grandfather loved. His granddaughter, Kylie Dagan of Maricopa, Arizona who wanted to be closer to her grandparents to watch her play softball accepted the offer to attend Howard College in Big Spring, Texas.

Proceeding Bill in death was his Parents Billy Joe Haddox and Doris Jean Collings of Caldwell, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue (Bolin), Son-In Law, Brian McCarthy and wife Mary Beth of Caldwell, Texas, his stepdaughter Donna Sue Dagan and husband Jason of Maricopa, Arizona.

Bill was strong in every aspect of his life. He had a moral compass and sense of ethics that was not compromised. He had a hard time asking for help because of his strong character. He enjoyed laughing and making friends and had the biggest heart with wanting to help everyone around him better themselves. If help was needed, he was there.
