Billie Hargrove

Billie Hargrove, 77, of Somerville went to his heavenly home on Thursday, December 22, 2016. Services will be held Monday, December 26, 3 pm at the First Lutheran Church in Somerville, with interment following at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Billie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved to tell jokes, cook, grow flowers, bowl, watch sports, especially football if the Dallas Cowboys or the Texas Longhorns were playing. Billie enjoyed being with family and friends and attending church at First Lutheran in Somerville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodges, Bellville #223, Hill City #456, Bee Hive #184, Graham Lodge #20, Lee Scott Lodge #793, Warren Lodge #56, Henry Thomas Lodge #7 and Brenham Chapter #144 order of the Eastern Star. Billie was a 50 year member of the Austin Valley Scottish Rite. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kincheon Hargrove, Lenora Wheeler Hargrove, brother-in-law, Kenneth Lemond.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Barbara Ann Hargrove, son, Guy Hargrove and wife Teresa, daughter, Joy Hargrove, stepson, Mark A. Scott, stepdaughter, Melissa Linn Sorenson, brother, Roy Hargrove and wife Aida, sister, Ruth L. Lemond, grandchildren, Michael L. Hargrove and wife Jamie, Mark L. Hargrove, Abigail Guerrero and husband Luis, Christopher A. Mills, Jessi Linn Sorenson, great-grandchildren, Tate L. Hargrove, Taylor L. Hargrove, Julie Hargrove, Dylan Guerrero, Kaden Guerrero, Landon Guerrero and Sofia Guerrero

Pallbearers are Michael Hargrove, Mark Hargrove, Chris Mills, Rodney Weidemann, Randy Weidemann and Douglas Becker.

Honorary Pallbearers are Brothers of the Masonic Lodge of Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that a memorial be given to the charity of your choice.
