Antonio Gil Martinez, 76, passed away January 7, 2021 at his residence in Caldwell, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Antonio Martinez was born June 13, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Juan Martinez and Mary (Guajardo) Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Christine Martinez, brother Martin Martinez, and sister Matilda Martinez.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie Martinez of 40 years, sons Gilbert Martinez & wife Mayda, John H. Walker & wife Pearl, brother Emilo Camposano, Grandchildren Matthew Martinez, Miranda Martinez, Cody Walker, Lisa & husband Adam Mangum, Great-grandchildren Avery and Logan Mangum.
Antonio Martinez had a strong Christian faith and was a Sunday school teacher at Snook Assembly of God. He was a great story teller, avid reader, loved gardening and maintaining his flowers and lawn. He loved his daughter Christine dearly and was her main caregiver until her death.
